Seoul Chapter of the 2023 FMA Decentralized World Gathering

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the FIFA Master Alumni Association and extend a warm welcome to the 23rd edition who recently graduated, FMA members convened in Seoul on August 5th to celebrate the Seoul Chapter of the 2023 FMA Decentralized World Gathering.
Despite the scorching temperatures reaching up to 36 degrees celsius, alumni gathered enthusiastically, even engaging in a few exhilarating futsal matches before lunch. While the South Korea National Team, unfortunately, couldn't advance beyond the group stage in the FIFA Women’s World Cup, the FMA Korea team emerged victorious in all matches against other competing teams.
Following the futsal matches, several more alumni joined in for a delightful lunch. Among them were those who were meeting each other for the first time. However, breaking the ice wasn't a challenge, as conversations flowed effortlessly. We delved into cherished memories from our program, and also discussed our career paths, exchanging valuable insights to further our personal growth.

This winter, we anticipate a greater number of alumni visiting Korea to reunite with their families. We hold the hope of organizing another gathering akin to this one, and perhaps even including another exhilarating futsal match!
