FIFA Master Alum invited as visiting scholar at prestigious Harvard University

Brazilian Pedro Trengrouse (Class of 2004) will be the first FIFA Master Alumni member to teach at the worldly famous Harvard University, in the outskirts of Boston, USA.

Professor Charles Nesson, Dean of Harvard Law School, scheduled Trengrouse's first lecture to early September. Trengrouse will be teaching and writing a paper on the role of governments who host mega sports events in the 21st century at Harvard’s Berkman Center for Internet and Society, from September to December 2014.

"I am very excited with the opportunity to research and discuss important issues for Sports in Harvard. I hope to contribute with ideas to empower Sports as a tool to serve society as a whole. As the FIFA Master is recognized as the world's best post grad in Sports Management and Harvard is the world's best University, I am sure that I shall be the first of many FMA visiting scholars there. Sport must play an important role to foster human, social and economic development in the 21st Century”, says Trengrouse.
